ALCOHOL – ASSESSMENT TO RELAPSE PREVENTION
Saturday 23rd October 2010 10am – 4pm
Assessment, physical and psychological effects of alcohol, how it differs from other drugs, goals of clients, strategies, cycle of change and relapse prevention.
ALCOHOL – MODELS AND THEORIES AROUND ALCOHOL DEPENDENCY.
Saturday 20th November 2010 10am – 4pm
The different models of alcohol dependency and the consequent different ways of thinking about and working with this client group.

Unconscious dynamics that can impact us when working with this client group.
MOTIVATIONAL INTERVIEWING Saturday 26th March 2011 10am – 4pm
A method of working with clients to motivate change.
SHAME Saturday 23rd April 2011 10am – 4pm
The shame process and how to help clients to increase their self-compassion and self-esteem.
Ronnie Aaronson has a B.ED (Hons) (London University), an MA in Psychodynamic Counselling (Reading University), a Diploma in Supervision (Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute) and has an Integrative Psychotherapist training (SPTI). She is accredited by UKCP. Ronnie has been providing training in the field for over ten years.
Hannah Duncan has a Advanced Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (CPCAB) and a Certificate in Counselling Supervision. She is a member of BACP. Hannah's background has been in development and training and corporate fund-raising. She has taught at Wiltshire college on the introduction to counselling course. She has been providing training in the field for three years.
